Hit-maker extraordinaire Danny Diggz just dropped this Michael Jackson tribute mini-mix via twitter (find him @dannydiggz) and he had to share. There will be a million tributes, remixes, and parties over the next few weeks for one of modern musics true legends. This is a nice summary to a man who has truly touched us over here at Crooked Disco. R.I.P. MJ.

Just a quick one here. We’re helping a friend kick off his new party, No Regrets, tomorrow evening at swanky downtown lounge Stay. It’s an after work affair perfect for dancing up a storm and getting home in time for Jimmy Fallon. It all kicks off at 6pm and ends at midnight. we’ll be on the decks spinning who knows what all night long. $3 beers, $4 well, & $5 premium from 6 - 10.

Morsy is taking a break from the edits for a minute to work on this new club banger, “Break it Down.” This is full-on club banger with original vocals to boot. Enjoy!
Check out this video created by INVADER for his upcoming solo exhibiton at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. “Time-lapse footage reveals the geometric complexity of of the artist’s incredible process in creating his trademark Rubickubism pieces featured in the show, and will be projected into the gallery space during the exhibition.” Should be amazing!
As my Old Money boy Scheme would say, “TELL DEM”

Italian born video artist Marco Brambilla (who also created the Wesley Snipes sci-fi amazingness that is Demolition Man) created loop for the newly opened Standard Hotel in NYC (which looks crazy gloomy on their webcam today) and is and is probably the coolest hotel art I’ve seen in a while. Standard, let’s have a party… I’m feelin’ what you’re feelin!
For those of you who like your beats a bit heady… (personal hero) DJ Spooky screens his Rebirth of a Nation all of next week at the Moma. For those unfamiliar, you can catch the original Birth of a Nation trailer here. [via flavorpill]
