Play Date Saturday with DJ Lemon (Baltimore)

We’re kicking 2010 into high gear this weekend as we return to Le Poisson Rouge for another edition of Play Date. This time around we’ve got Baltimore’s DJ Lemon dropping by on the decks. He’s Claire Hux hometown DJ and the man on the wheels for Lazerbitch and will be bringing that crunked up baltimore electro sound. Plus, we’ll be on the decks all night playing our favorite new songs of 2010 and some classics from 2009 that we just can’t get enough of. There are cheap drink before midnight ($4 Rolling Rocks and select wines) so come out an help us start the year off right! More formal details below:

Join DJs Morsy and Kestar, aka the Crooked Disco DJs, for Play Date, their monthly party at the gallery at Le Poisson Rouge. Play Date is a unique, free, party featuring the Crooked Disco DJs all night long on the decks sharing their favorite new music, premiering their latest custom tracks and remixes, and digging out rediscovered dancefloor classics. Expect their custom blend of mixed up party sounds from electro to house, disco to good hip hop and assorted breakbeats all night long with an injection of personal favorites geared toward the intimate gallery space.
